i took this picture on the way hiking this morning. i took two pictures, actually, but i really like this one.
Alang-alang.
the unique giant grass with strong 'character', in my opinion. 

you see...Alang-alang could still alive though it is yanked out or cutted. i guess, may be because their roots anatomy so if you yanked it out you only get the stems not the roots. the roots will remain stay deep in the ground and ready to grow again, unless you try to dig and take the roots. 

hhmm...could i be just like them?
